Outdoor bed / Sunbathing

More photos and videos of this DIY on my instagram account @roxanepom

Here is a new DIY today to create yourself a large outdoor sun bed (and still in recuperated wood)

For this you need a large pallet which acts as a base (our pallet measures 120x180 cm), remains of pallets, joists, fixing screws.

And follow the next steps in photos.

The sun bed measures in total height 2m10 (the base is fixed at 60 cm high)

The length is 1.95m and the depth is 1.20m.

To save money and make the mattress I simply bought 6 floor cushions in 60x60 cm and on sale at Leroy Merlin that I gathered in a waterproof mattress cover bought on Amazon.

If you don't have any reclaimed wood, it is quite possible to find what you need in the store.

You need about 10 joists or posts (section 7x7 cm approximately in 240 cm average price 7.50 € / unit)

About ten shuttering boards to make the base and the roof (if no pallet): average price € 5 per unit.
